Recruit WORKFIT Program

Since the global financial crisis in 2008, there has been a rise in the number of young people in Japan who can’t find work, even if they are looking. As part of ongoing contributions to society, Recruit worked on utilizing the expertise in the hiring and human resource field to try to solve this social problem. “WORK FIT”, our free employment-support program was started in 2011 to tackle this problem. In 2015, RGF International Recruitment began offering this program to students in Asia as Recruit WORKFIT Program as there were similarities for young Asians finding difficulty to search for their job. We hold lectures on preparing self-promotional materials, practice interview role play, and more. The program was first held at Wall Street English School in Vietnam in 2015, followed by King Mongkut’s University of Technology in Thailand in 2016, and Shanghai International Studies University in China in 2017. We attracted a total of approximately 300 students and the participating students gave comments such as “I learned how to prepare for job search” and “I had an opportunity to think more about my strengths and weaknesses”. From here on, our aim continues to be the same to support even more people to find the work that’s right for them.
